Klau Jungle Trail 2018

We are proud to announce the First Edition of Klau Jungle Trail 2018.

This is a brand-new route/course, consists of 2 categories, 25km and 42km distance.

Sg. Klau is a small town located in Raub, Pahang. It is 90k away from Kuala Lumpur. They are famous for their “Musang King Durian”, the king of fruit.

Lata Berembun (Lata means “waterfall” or “cataract” in Malay) is considered as one of the best natural treasures of Pahang. Lata Berembun is located deep within the Benom range, and is not too far from the borders of the Klau Wildlife Reserve; one of the most important conservation areas in Peninsular Malaysia (unfortunately it is off-limit to most people as it is not a national park). From the waterfall, which is on an estimated altitude of around 650m above sea level, the trailhead to Gunung Benom (2107m) begins. Gunung Benom is10th Highest Peak in Peninsular Malaysia.

Runner will run through tarred road, off-road, palm oil plantation, estates, wild forest etc to reach the waterfall. You will have no regrets to take on this challenge to be at this breath-taking, hard-to-reach waterfall!
