Great Minds Virtual Run 2018
With objectives of promoting healthy lifestyle and building awareness to Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Perintis Youth (PY) IIUM Chapter will be organizing a running event as a platform to gather people from all over Malaysia in the spirit of uniting people with great and creative minds.
PY IIUM Chapter is aspired to promote cross-culture integration and social networking among people with various academic backgrounds with a theme of “Great Minds Virtual Run”. The program is targeted for everyone where the participants will run at their own paces, own convenience, environment to encourage them not only to be great thinkers but also great runners.

- Promoting healthy and active lifestyle across the globe
- To drive charity for STEM education to underprivileged school children
Date: 2nd July 2018 till 31st August 2018 (2 months)

Distance: Accumulative 20KM

** Note 1: Closing Date is 31st July 2018 or earlier, once the race entry has reached full capacity.
** Note 2: Records can be submitted in terms of photos from any running apps to our email.
** Note 3: Suggestion apps: Runkeeper, Strava, Runtastic, RaceRunner, Nike+, ENdomondo, Google Fit.
** Note 4: For payment, 6% will be absorbed by perintis, not from the participants.

- Finisher medals will only be awarded upon completion of run, or accumulation of 20km run.
- Registered participants who do not complete their run are not entitled for finisher medal, but still can get t-shirt
- All participants will receive a micro-fibre event tee
- Participants are advised to refer to the size chart, and select their sizes carefully to avoid any sizing issues. No exchange will be allowed after confirmation of registration

DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR REPC
- Confirmation slip
Note: We encourage a paperless environment. Hence, a confirmation slip displayed through mobile/smartphone at the REPC counter will suffice. - Photocopy of National Registration Identity Card (Malaysian) or Passport together with confirmation slip must be produced during REPC.
- All participants must register online by providing their name, NRIC/Passport number, gender, contact number, email address, and emergency contact details.
- Upon successful registration, each participant will receive a confirmation slip via email. The confirmation slip serves as the only valid evidence of registration. All participants are required to present their respective confirmation slips during Race Entry Pack Collection Day.
