General Info

  1. You need to provide the Name, NRIC, Sex, Contact number, email address of your team members, name of team captain and most importantly, your team name. *Please note that the team name cannot exceed 20 alphabets to ensure it fits nicely into the event bib.
  2. The Confirmation Slip is the only valid proof of confirmed registration and to be used for the collection of bibs / batons on the event day.
  3. The Event is opened to participants who are 7 years old and above. Age is calculated based on 31 December 2019.
  4. Participants must wear their bib numbers at the front top side of the running wear. Pin your number bib prominently as high as possible – and attach them to the front of the Runners’ Tee using the safety pins that have been provided. Please ensure that the number bib is visible.
  5. Tampering with the race number bib in any way (e.g. obscuring/removing sponsor’s identification) will result in your disqualification. The organizer shall immediately disqualify any participants if this rule is not strictly observed.
  6. No substitutions are allowed before or on race day without prior written consent from Elpis Relay 2019.
  7. There will be official transfer window to allowed bib changing to ensure participant/ runner covered by insurance.

Timing Chip/ Baton

  1. A baton will be issued to each team upon the collection of race bibs on event day. The entire team will be disqualified if they failed to collect their baton which has a timing chip attached, therefore resulting in the failure to record an official time.
  2. All batons must be returned to organizer before the close of the event. If the batons are not returned, we will reserve the right to claim for losses against the participants.

 Collection of Baton

  1. Baton will be given during REPC to the captain/ representative together with bib and event tee.
  2. Please make sure the BATON is well kept.
  3. We will not bear if any damage happens.
  4. We will explain how to handle the baton at our Facebook and also during race briefing before flag off.

Finisher Medal

  1. Finisher medals will be awarded to each team after the completion of the run and upon returning the baton / timing chip.
  2. Registered participants/teams who do not turn up on race day will be disqualified and are not entitled to finisher medals.


  1. Official result will be announced base on timing captured by the system.
  2. The Fastest Men and Women determine based on the best loop timing recorded by the official timing device. Result will be announced during the prize presentation ceremony
  3. We are pleased to announce the Best Costume Awards special only for FUN RUN category.

Water Station  

We will provide only one water station located at Start/ Finish line. There will be no Water station along the race route.  


  1. There will be checkpoint for Relay category. 2. We have the rights to argue and cancel the race for those who caught cheating.


  1. Participant takes part in Elpis Relay 2019 at his or her own risk and shall be responsible for his or her own safety. Elpis Relay 2019, Event Sponsors or Co-Sponsors shall not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for or during participation in Elpis Relay 2019. The Participant is strongly encouraged to consult his or her medical practitioner in respect of his or her health prior to registration and before the actual race day.
  2. A Participant must retire from the race immediately if required to do so by any member of the official medical staff, race director, referee and/or security officer.
  3. Your safety is our top priority.

If it rains before the event:

Runners are to proceed to race venue for further instructions.

  • If there are any delays, announcements will be made at the event ground by 8.00 pm.
  • If the bad weather persists past 7.00pm, the race will be cancelled.

If it rains during the race:

 Announcements will be made by the marshals along the running route to advice participants to take shelter. Participants can proceed with the run at their own risk.

After the run:

Don't just head home right after completing the run! Join in the fun activities at event area for the official after party. Don't forget to stay behind after to see if you've won in the grand lucky draw.
