- Organisation - Copa Da Malasia XI is organised by Awesome Possum Grappling Ent. (hereby known as the organiser).
- Copa Da Malasia follows IBJJF rules, regulations, general competition guidelines and competition format.
- Completion of the official Copa Da Malasia X online registration, confirms the participant's event is only confirmed upon successful completion of the entry agreement to abide all event Rules and Regulations. Registration for participation in the form and entry fee payment.
- Participants' waiver on safety - Whilst reasonable precautions will be taken by the organiser to ensure the participants' safety. Participants take part in Copa Da Malasia X at their own risk, and the organiser will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for or during the event. Participants upon registration hereby waived their rights to take any legal action, whether or not contractual or negligence or under any laws or enactment against the organiser for any loss, injury and damage pertaining to their participation in Copa Da Malasia X.
- Safety & Medical
- Participants must be physically fit and in good health to compete in their division.
- Participants are responsible for their own personal health insurance and well-being. The organiser assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage that occurs from training, during or as a result of the event. Participants are strongly encouraged to consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual event.
- Participants must retire from the competition immediately if asked/requested to do so by any member of the officials, medical personnel or security officers.
- By signing up for Copa Da Malasia X, the participants agree to grant the organiser permission to collect, analyse or distribute any personal information regarding the event as they deem fit.
- The organiser reserves the rights to use any photographs, video, audio recordings, personal statements/interviews and any other media from Copa Da Malasia as they deem fit, including in future marketing and commercial advertising.
- All payments made are non-refundable.
- Participants are given a weight allowance of 300g.
- A penalty of RM500 will be imposed to participants who fail to make weight according to their registered weight division. Participants will be shifted to the weight category according to their weigh-in weight.
- ONLY black, blue and white Gis compliant to IBJJF standards are allowed for competition.
- ONLY rash guards, spats and BJJ/MMA pants compliant to IBJJF standards are allowed
- FULL competition attire is required upon weigh-ins.
- Groin guards are NOT allowed in the competition.
- All participants are required to weigh-in and register prior to competing.
- Juvenile and Teen divisions are open belt competition.
- Kids division (Pee Wee and Junior) is an open belt competition.
- Brown and Black Belt is a separate belt division as of 2019.
- Black Belts compete for FOC for Copa XI.
- Competitors of age 30 years and above are eligible to register in BOTH masters and adult division OR either one. (ONLY applicable to white and blue belt participants)
- ONLY podium winners (medalist - gold, silver, bronze x2) are eligible to sign up for absolute division.
